How do the e-tutor and classroom teacher work together?
Both the e-tutor and the classroom teacher contribute to the students’ learning and enjoyment of Latin. The e-tutor provides subject specialist direction and assessment from a distance, whilst the classroom teacher shapes the learning environment for the students. The relationship between the e-teacher and classroom teacher is one of a partnership seeking a common goal. The e-tutor should maintain close contact with the classroom teacher via weekly communication by telephone or e-mail in a pre-arranged time slot. It is the responsibility of the e-tutor to initiate such contact each week.
