How do the Declaration of Condominium and By-Laws Differ?
The Declaration of Condominium created the legal entity known as Saman Villas Condominium Homeowners’ Association, Inc., and outlines rules and restrictions regarding the property. It defines the units which are owned individually and the common property which is owned proportionately by all the unit owners. The By- Laws provide for the governance of the Association. The Policies are additional rules and regulations which have been established by the Board of Directors from time to time as authorized by the By-Laws.
