How do the children end up at the Orphanage?
Most of the children have been brought to us by DIF (Mexico’s Department of Social Service). On occasion a mother, father or grandparent will come to the Orphanage and appeal to us to take their children because they can not afford to feed them. Many of the kids that come to us have been abandoned, and/or abused. Each child that is brought to us has emotional needs; for some the pain is very deep.
