How do the categories and filters work in explore?
When using Explore for places, first check the boxes for any categories of businesses you want to view on the map. You can view multiple categories on a map at the same time, for instance both restaurants and movie theaters. Then, under each category you select, you will have the option of adding filters to narrow down your choices within that category. As an example, you could choose the restaurant category and then add filters for ‘italian’ and ‘romantic’ to see only restaurants that are Italian and romantic. Explore works similarly when browsing for events as well.
