How do the butterflies survive shipping?
Butterflies are much stronger than most people give them credit for. Each butterfly is fed, exercised and carefully placed inside a special designed box for their safety. The boxes are then packaged within an inner shipping container, which is then placed inside a double insulated cooler. Since butterflies are cold ed creatures, the cool temperature combined with minimal light allows the butterflies to remain calm and naturally inactive during shipping.
