How do the amendments affect agriculture?
Agricultural land owners who already perform activities on prairies and oak woodlands can continue to do so. Property owners may undertake new agricultural activities on properties that contain prairies as long as they submit a habitat management plan, and mitigate any negative impacts to the critical areas and their buffers using best management practices.
