How do the active ingredients the TriOral System work?
The sodium chlorite in Solution 1 is an oxidizing agent, which helps eliminate existing sulfur gases (bad breath gases) in the mouth. The zinc in Solution 2 helps to prevent new sulfur gases (bad breath odors) from forming. The sodium chlorite and zinc work together, over time, to create an environment in the mouth that is not favorable for the bacteria that cause bad breath.
