How do temporary internet files affect MSN communities?
Problems in the MSN Communities can be caused by the temporary internet files in several ways. The Temporary Internet Files may not refresh when they should. When a page has been updated, the new page should replace the old page. The frequency of refreshing can be set by the user. In Internet Explorer, use Tools, Internet Options, General Tab, Temporary Internet Files, and Settings. However, pages may not always refresh when changed. Temporary internet files infrequently may become corrupted, causing an erroneous page to load, or not load at all. The temporary internet files folder may become very large, which instead of speeding up page loading may instead cause the pages to load slower due to the time it takes to search the stored pages. For these reasons, some users regularly delete the Temporary Internet Files.
