How do tectonic processes affect environments and people?
Pupils used the internet and other sources to investigate what happens at destructive and other types of plate margins. In small groups, they created their own animation by taking digital images of models and diagrams they had created. Pupils then investigated a tectonic event of their choice using the internet. They were asked to describe how it happened and its impact on people and to present their report as a dramatic news article.
