How do teams verify that theyve visited the checkpoints?
Teams carry a “passport” with them. Each checkpoint has a “punch”, with a unique pin pattern, that they use to mark their passport to show that they visited the checkpoint. Don’t lose your passport! If you do, you’ll either have to revisit the points with a new passport, or race as an “Unofficial Team” from then on.
