How do Sudanese and other people living in Sudan make appointments?

Interview dates will be posted on the Sudan Consular Pages section of the American Embassy Cairo website by November 17. We are asking non-immigrant visa applicants to contact the Embassy in Khartoum three weeks prior to the time they want to have their interviews We suggest that applicants not apply for an Egyptian visa until their appointment date in Cairo is settled. (Once they have been given an interview time, they should apply for their Egyptian visas.) Once an Egyptian visa is issued, applicants can then pay the U.S. visa processing fee in Khartoum as per the usual procedure. Applicants must bring the application fee receipt to the interview. If an applicant cannot obtain an Egyptian visa, he or she must inform the Embassy in Khartoum at least three full days before the interview. We will allow cancellation with no penalty in that case, unless there is repeated abuse of this system. If cancellation comes less than three days prior to the interview, we will not allow that person
