How do subliminal messages work?
Our brains recognize sounds on different frequency or wave levels. Much like a radio, we can tune into different messages on different levels. We may think that the majority of sounds we hear are heard in our conscious minds. That’s often untrue. Think about when you sit at your desk at work. You might hear any number of sounds in the background chatter, the drip of the coffee maker, the wind, the birds chirping outside, the hum of the copy machine, the sounds of footsteps, the rustle of paper yet you probably register few of them consciously. Otherwise how would you ever get your work done? Instead, you hear them with your subconscious mind. That is, your mind registers the sounds even if you don’t consciously realize it…got it? Good. Subliminal messages work on the same level. They are actual voice recordings of positive and inspirational phrases that your mind “hears” on a subconscious level. You don’t realize you’re constantly absorbing these reinforcements, but you are.
