How do students send data to their instructor?
The easiest way for students to submit data to their instructor is to click File/Submit on the BookOnReader menu. The student will be prompted to enter his/her instructor WebTrack ID and the data will be placed on the queue for that instructor. When the instructor uses the WebTrack Instructor’s Module to consolidate data, the data will be copied to the instructors computer, added to the database, then removed from the WebTrack queues. WebTrack works very much like an e-mail system, with results being temporarily stored on the WebTrack servers until downloaded by the instructor. Data is NOT permanently stored on the WebTrack servers, so instructors should be warned to make regular backup copies of their WebTrack folders and data.
