How do students register for PD courses?
Students are automatically enrolled into PD1/PD2 and PD20/21 when it is the first time that they are taking the course, as long as they are following their program’s sequencing as it is outlined in the Undergraduate Calendar. For all other PD courses, students are responsible for enrolling themselves through Quest. If a student thinks he or she should be in PD1 or PD2, but it is not showing on his/her schedule, the student should email our office (watpd@uwaterloo.ca). If an Engineering student thinks he or she should be in PD20 or PD21 and is not, the student should contact his or her Engineering academic program advisor. Students who must repeat PD1, PD2, PD20 or PD21 are responsible for enrolling themselves into the course through Quest.
