Approximately 1,000 of the nearly 7,000 undergraduate students at Harvard compete in intercollegiate athletics, proving every day that it is realistic for Harvard students to be successful student-athletes. Athletics is a primary component of the educational experience at Harvard. The abilities to prioritize and manage time effectively are learned through this experience and are useful life lessons.
