How do students go about reading online?
The first thing they will need to do is find their class by accessing the Student Class Finder widget on the homepage. They can enter their school name, your name, course, course number, or any combination of this information into the Class Finder tool. A list of courses will appear based on the information they plugged in. They click on your course. This brings them to a choose your book landing page where they can choose from our variety of formats including read free online. If they haven’t yet registered they will be brought to a registration page where they create a login and password, and in doing so create a ‘My Flatworld’ account where all purchased, digital materials are immediately accessible. From there they can access the book reader and begin reading online. At any time they can opt to ‘buy this book’ by the clicking the ‘buy this book’ link for an offline format.
