Students have several ways to locate AR books in their ZPD level. They can peruse the stacks of books in our library during their library visitation once a week. They can checkout books from their teacher’s classroom library. They can check out an AR book at the Allen County Public Library or they can purchase a book at a bookstore. With our school’s use of AR Enterprise, the entire 120,000 plus AR quiz library is available to our students! Nearly every fiction book in our school has an AR quiz and most non-fiction books do too. AR books are also labeled on the spine with the book level, quiz points, and the interest level (LG = lower grades, MG = middle grades, UG = upper grades). An easy way to find books is to use one of our school computers in the classroom, computer labs, library, or at home on the web to electronically search our library catalog.
