How do students become mentors?
During March and April of each academic year, a recruitment campaign is launched to collect applications from interested third and fourth-year students who wish to partake in the Peer Mentoring Program. Application materials will be posted on DocDepot (under the Mentoring folder) around this time, and students will have a couple of weeks to apply. Candidates will be interviewed by a selection committee, and successful candidates will be notified via telephone shortly thereafter. Adjusting to university can be quite the challenge!
