How do students arrange the first meeting and what should students expect to discuss?
Mentors receive an email from the M and M team stating their Mentee’s details. Mentors are advised to get in contact with the mentee within 7 working days to arrange the first meeting. This email includes a template for Mentors to use (if they wish) when emailing their Mentee for the first time. At the first meeting students will introduce themselves. Mentors will discuss the boundaries and confidentiality. Mentees will disclose the issues that are troubling them and what they would like to get out of the mentoring support.
