How do Student Organizations or Campus Departments receive money?
At the end of the academic year, Registered Student Organizations may request funds for the next academic year from Student Activities by completing the Budget Request Form. Requests are then reviewed by the Student Activities Council. Student Organizations are also strongly encouraged to do fundraising throughout the year. However, all fundraising must receive prior approval by the Director of Student Activities and the Vice President of Fiscal Affairs. Fundraising Request Forms can be found here. Campus Departments can submit Divisional Proposals throughout the year to the Office of Student Activities. The proposals will be viewed and voted on at the next scheduled Student Activities Council meeting.
