How do stage shows get people doing silly things?
Some stage shows have a few people planted; some do not. Most shows use audience members. They bring enough people on stage to insure they have at least a few good participants. The people who are able to go deep enough into trance to behave like a chicken are one of two types they will keep on stage. The first type person is the gregarious type who is normally the life of the party and is likely to act outrageous anyway, and the second type is the very quiet type who secretly or subconsciously desire to break out of their shell. Either way, the acts performed on stage are in agreement with the participant’s core values or they simply would not be hypnotizable.
