How do sponge balls clean clogged tubes?
ENERGY SAVING PRODUCTS first cleans condenser tubes to manufacturer’s specifications upon installation of the ATCS. Then once the system is installed, the sponge balls (which have a wider diameter than the tubes), are run through the system every half-hour wiping tubes clean. This prevents the deposition of foulants. ATCS’s unique and efficient design doesn’t obstruct water flow nor result in flow reduction after the ball trap. The simultaneous release of sponge balls at high speed disperses the balls in a different manner each time resulting in much more efficient cleaning of condenser tubes.
