How do spirit guides help guide a living person?
The only way to get closer to God or even your spirit guide is to become closer to being “in spirit” yourself. You will find that the more you practice being a good person, showing compassion, love, forgiveness, patience, etc., that you will start to notice things standing out that did not stand out before. I believe that a spirit guide can become more apparent when you get closer to God. Meditation is also a good way to bring you closer. I think that our guides choose us or either it is determined before we are born. If you are looking to learn more you should look into books written by Sylvia Browne. I have read a few of her books and they are great, I don’t agree with every single thing she says (and she tells everyone that is okay because you have to believe what your heart tells you), but I think she has good intentions and she does a good job of describing the spirit guide since she is very close to hers.
