How do SPA Exempt employees show time worked over 40 hours?

0

SPA Exempt employees do not capture/enter their time worked in TIM. If they earn Comp TIme for the time worked over 40 hours, they enter the SPA EX Comp Time pay code and the amount of hours over 40 into the timecard. The SPA Exempt Schedule patterns are used to simplify SPA Exempt employee’s entry in TIM. However, the schedule and resulting amount of Hours Worked in the timecard are not sent to payroll because SPA Exempt employees are paid on a salary basis. Only additional payment types such as Shift Differentials, On Call and Holiday Premium are sent to payroll for SPA Exempt employees in qualifying classifications.
