It is not a good idea to compare the quality of sound system Tapes with albums you purchase on cassette, as they go through a totally different recording process! Sound system Tapes are taped live at a dance and ready for sale. Albums available on cassette are produced in a studio and “re-mastered” before they hit the stores. This is not possible for sound system Tapes because such a process would drive the price up too high for the average fan to afford!
