I belive when a game developer makes a game from their console, Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft then get 30% of the profits from the units sold.

They don’t make money off game purchases. They make money off the console, controllers, accessories, and anything they have a license to. Games they were not published by they three will have all their money go to the publisher, developer, and retailer.
