How do silver bullets/wooden stakes kill an Immortal?
These materials have certain properties in controlling immortal powers, particularly silver which is dangerous for most immortals, not just werewolves. Acting like sponges for the super-natural, they attempt to return the world they touch to normal, causing them to act on immortals as normal objects would on normal people. These materials turn immortal beings into regular humans on contact. Since the immortal power is often deeply ingrained in the creatures make-up, this kind of contact is often very painful.
