How do silk plants handle exposure to direct sun?
A. Generally, most will not fare too well. Direct sunlight will generally fade and /or discolor the foliage of most silk plants over time. The less the direct sun exposure, the longer the life of the foliage. That said, there are some special foliages developed specifically for exposure to sun, including outdoor use in full sun conditions. There are also several small shrubs, flowering bushes and herbs that will last for a reasonable period of time in sun exposure conditions.
