How do short notice/emergency cakes work?
Payment for cakes must be made before I make the cake, this includes emergency cakes. I will try my best to make the cake you’d like but it is pretty much what ever we can whip up fast. I do not freeze cakes so I don’t have cakes right on hand. There is also an additional cost. A short notice cake is any cake ordered 4 days (or less) before cake is needed. So, 5 days it isn’t short notice, 4 days is. You may have contacted me before 4 days about your cake, but if you wait to pay (which books your cake) 4 days before the cake is needed, it is considered a short notice cake.
