How do Shadow Wolves hide themselves from the general human populations?
The packs/clans of Shadow Wolves are extremely secretive, as a necessity to avoid being hunted into extinction by humans ignorant of their ecological role in keeping werewolves banished behind the demon doors. Oft mistaken for werewolves in the past, the noble Shadow Wolf has been subject to human persecution and “witch hunts.” Leading double lives, “shadows” never reveal to “non-shadows’ (humans) their true capabilities. They try to marry within the clans to keep blood lines pure, and have a very distinctive order of dominance within packs/clans—which also determine leadership.
