How Do Rotarians Serve the Community?
Members of the Rotary Club of Chatswood promote the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including faithfulness, fidelity and fair treatment. We encourage recognition of the worthiness to society of all useful occupations and we recognise the contribution of vocational talents to the needs of the world. We have a broad range of programmes and projects in areas such as community and human development, help for the disadvantaged and environmental protection. These contribute to education, health, facilities, childcare, crime prevention, the elderly, immigrant assimilation, literacy and others. We are involved in larger scale overseas projects where we contribute personnel and funds to advance international understanding through contact whilst contributing to another country’s community issues. We contribute to the welfare and well-being of the young people in the Chatswood/Willoughby area and provide elements for school children and young adults to help develop their leadership
