How do rockets escape from earths gravitational pull?
when the rockets push they create a certain amount of thrust which is need to get the rocket off the ground. As the rocket gets higher the air fritcion becomes less so the rocket travels faster and the gravitional pull decreases on the rocket so most of the force is needed to get away from Earth. Then, as soon as they are in space they have escaped the gravitional pull of Earth.
