How do Research Topic deadlines work?
When setting deadlines for your Research Topic, keep in mind that participation announcements need to be sent, abstracts need to be submitted, notifications to the authors need to be sent regarding the approval of their abstracts, and full articles need to be prepared. The editorial office suggests a minimum of two months from the day the topic announcement is sent to potential contributors, to the date of abstract submission. We also suggest a further three months until the date of full article submission.
