How do report card grades work in fourth grade?
Fourth grade is the first year that letter grades are given. Our grading system includes our traditional marks of an ‘A’ (100-90%), ‘B’ (89-80%), and ‘C’ (79-70%) grade. The difference in fourth grade is that we give an ‘N’ grade if below standard as opposed to the traditional D’s or F’s. An ‘N’ grade reflects effort or performance below grade level (i.e. below 69% range).
