How do push pull attachments work?
Slip sheets are designed with tabs along one or more sides that extend beyond the unitized product or load area. Push pull attachments have gripper bars that clamp onto the slip sheet tabs and pulls product onto two wide platens. The platens support the product unit load while it is being moved from one location to another. When the product is in place, the action of the push pull attachment moves the product with a pushing motion and removes it from the platens as the gripper bar releases the slip sheet. The push pull attachment equipped fork lift trucks can be used throughout a manufacturing facility for a palletless operation or can be used to pull the product from a pallet at the time of loading.
