How do Polish people remember the massacre now?
Historical memory becomes less and less visible with time. Especially for the younger generations who live with completely different issues and with completely different lives. But I think that it is crucial to have knowledge about our own history because it is educational for us. It was also important for me to show young people the kind of worries we had in the past, what we felt, how big our hope was. What was the reaction in Poland to the film?
