Yet many drugs that are promising in vitro fail to prove safe and efficacious in vivo. Conducting drug discovery experiments in stem cells could allow researchers to understand how drug candidates interact with the entire cell rather than only with individual components. To discuss how stem cells can be used for drug discovery and developm
