How do Plants Grow from Seeds?
Plants grow from seeds when the time and circumstances are correct for the plants to safely grow. The requirements vary from plant to plant, but most plants require a certain amount of warmth, moisture, and loose enough soil to allow the plant’s seed coat to crack and the root to push down and stem to push up through the soil so that the plant can absorb enough sunlight for photosynthesis. Until then, the infant plant lives off of the food stored with it in the seed. You can find more info at: http://www.greenwing.org/newgreenwing/ac…
