How do Pharmion stockholders of record get their cash and shares of Celgene stock?
Shareholders of record (those who hold shares of Pharmion stock in their own names) will receive a package in the mail from the American Stock Transfer & Trust Company. This package will include (a) a letter of transmittal and (b) instructions for using the letter of transmittal and surrendering Pharmion stock certificates in exchange for the cash and a certificate or certificates for Celgene common stock. Pharmion stockholders should not send their stock certificates until they receive the letter of transmittal.
