How do people naturally acquire Omega-3(EPA/DHA) in their diets?
Unfortunately, in the US the answer is sparingly. According to the USDA half of the adult population consumes less then 60 mg per day, way less then the recommended amount. This is probably due to the fact that eating fish is about the only way to get omega-3(EPA/DHA) and we all know that not every likes fish or finds it convenient to eat frequently.
