How do people make and upload custom clothes and hair for Sims 2 PC?
What you use to make custom Sims content depends on what you want to create. Simple recolors can usually be made via BodyShop, which comes with the game, and almost any image editing program. If you wish to create new items such as hair or clothing, you need to know or learn how to mesh. If you have never done something like this, please be aware this is usually something that takes some time and effort to learn, though it can be well worth the effort! Two programs I see referred to again and again with regards to creating and editing in the Sims 2 are SimsPE and MilkShape. The former is for editing a wide variety of file information, while the later is for creating and editing meshes.
