How do people know if their seat is one of the ones being recalled?
The affected Discovery car seats were built on February 4, 2008 with model numbers 3021769Z and 3021854Z. If consumers recently purchased a Discovery from a Wal-Mart or Target store, we ask them to examine their model number and manufacturing date. To locate this information, they need to turn the seat upside down as shown in the picture below. The label is located on the bottom of the seat, toward the foot end of the seat.
