How do people become Ebionites?
People become Ebionites through a conversion process similar to most Jewish conversions. You ask to become an Ebionite. Then you begin to learn in earnest what it means to be a Jew and an Ebionite, for a year in most cases. During this period you are spoken to and of as an Ebionite, yet conversion is not achieved until the completion of the entire process. After the time of preparation and learning to live as a Jew and Ebionite, you are asked questions to ensure you that you are making the conscious and correct decision and ready to embrace the Convenant that Israel has with God and to share in the fate of Israel for good or bad.
