How do patients use MoleMapCD?
The MoleMapCD is an excellent tool for regular, at-home, Skin Self-Examinations (SSE). Patients at-risk of melanoma should use the CD when checking their skin for any changes. The MoleMapCD Patient Brochure contains information on using the MoleMapCD during a SSE as well as a log to record SSE dates. If a patient sees something suspicious, they should print out the screen and circle the troubling area. If the patient identifies a skin change, they should contact their physician immediately to schedule a professional exam.
