How do “Park Models” differ from Double-wide manufactured homes?

0

Park Models are a small “single-wide”. They come completely furnished from the factory, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, dinette, living room usually with a sleeper sofa. They have an attached raised screened porch with a small utility room. Park Models are classified as an RV (recreational vehicle) in our county. This means that you can occupy your park model for no more than 6 months. In other words, these are strictly a winter retreat from the north. The land lease is from November to April at $2,900.00 per season. This includes water, sewer, garbage/trash collection & lawn cutting.
