How do parents react to delinquent children?
Each parent has his own idea of a parenting style, idea of what is justice, and how much responsibility they want to have for their children. Some parents are hands on; some hands off. So, with that I have two stories for you (true) 1. When my son was in grade school, there were these high school boys that drove to school each day. They thought it would be great fun to use the car to herd the kids either back on the sidewalk or just scare them by charging the car at the group waiting for the school bus. My son, on the way out to school, said “I wonder if I am going to die today”. That’s when I found out what was going on. I got the license number and description of the car, after watching the antics, and called the police. The police picked up the driver at the high school and called to be sure I wanted to press charges. The charges would be for child endangerment, attempted murder, reckless driving, etc. These charges would have ruined this kids life. The officer had me on speaker pho
