How do PAC members get enrolled in MCOs?
DHMH has a contract with PSI, the enrollment broker that sends out the PAC MCO enrollment packets. The packet explains how to pick an MCO. If they do not choose an MCO, they will be auto-assigned to an MCO. PSI contacts individuals who have been determined eligible for PAC to educate the member about their MCO choices and assist them with the enrollment process. Once they are in the MCO they get an MCO ID card and MCO handbook which explains in more detail how PAC works and what is and is not covered.
