How do other persons apply to attend an open hearing?
Once the open hearing is scheduled, interested persons (including members of the victim s or the offender s family) must submit a written request for the form titled, “Application to Attend an Open Parole Release Hearing” as soon as possible. They will be permitted to attend if they are at least 18 years old and if space permits. No one may attend an open parole hearing without prior written authorization from the Parole Commission.
