The measures that governments are taking as members of the Convention interplay with the actions to fight corruption taken by other institutions such as the United Nations, Council of Europe, the European Union, the Organisation of American States, the African Union and many others. They also reinforce anti-corruption activities of institutions such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organisation.
