How do Openreach engineers help to raise Openreach awareness?
Openreach engineers are trained to ensure what they say when they arrive on the doorstep links seamlessly with the Expect Openreach message. The complementary training programme they follow is called What’s Openreach. While Expect Openreach asks advisors working for Communications Providers to say “An Openreach engineer will visit” and explain that Openreach work on their behalf, What’s Openreach asks the Openreach engineer to say “I’m from Openreach, working on behalf of your Communications Provider”. Together we deliver a seamless message to all end users, help to minimise confusion and hence improve end user experience.
